Glossary · 31 entries in five groups

The words that make the system intelligible

Every entry offers a one-sentence definition, a fuller explanation, an honest account of unresolved questions and a link to the relevant guide section. Throughout the guide, these terms have a dotted underline: hover or tap to see a definition without leaving the page.

Mechanism · reading order

Concepts build on one another

Voting relies on IPI, and IPI relies on the Tree of Knowledge. Select a concept: gold highlights its foundations; blue highlights what depends on it. Lower concepts are more foundational.

Infocracy itself is not on the map, because Infocracy is the whole map. One sentence underlies the rest: your voting weight reflects what you know, multiplied by how honestly you act.

Eight definitions. Can you name the concepts?

Read a definition without its name and choose from four answers. No time limit, no penalty. Incorrect answers suggest what to read next. Your best score stays in your browser.

What is deliberately left out

A glossary is not a legal code

Every entry includes an “intentionally unresolved” section. These are not gaps to conceal, but invitations to improve the proposal. Figures such as 30%, 1.00 and 80/20 are examples from the author’s materials, not settled law.

Three source articles—on Intelligent Anarchy, Dynamic Truth and Cultural Regions—exist in the project only as page images. Their definitions therefore draw on the guide and book and are marked partial. Any misunderstanding in this glossary is exactly the kind of issue worth reporting.
